Hopes, Dreams & Aspirations Project

We have really exciting news – Hopes, Dreams & Aspirations

The cost of living crisis and introduction of discretionary bursaries for young people wishing to go to college after leaving School, has had a huge impact on the Hopes, Dreams and Aspirations of our young people. This has created a lottery and has left many young people unable to afford essential equipment, transport costs or clothing that they need to take up a place at College or pursue an interest that is key to their future careers and development.

This is an inequality that we want to address. We have listened and have spent the last 6 months fundraising to get our project Hopes, Dreams & Aspirations off the ground. Thanks to generous donations from the Brian Murtagh, SEA and Joan Wilkinson Charitable Trusts, we now have the funds available to help our young people.

If you know a young person that is being held back, or is put off from taking up a college because of the costs involved, please ask them to email Martin Rawson at reviveaid@revivecentre.com setting out the help they need and why. Please note they need to live in Chaddesden, Derwent, Spondon or Oakwood.

We can’t wait to help those that need our support.
