During March 2022, after being made a referring agency by the City Council, we received 114 referrals from local people wanting to access the Council’s Household Support fund. We are delighted that we have been able to generate an extra £9,690 to help with the cost of living crisis. The Council’s household support scheme ended on the 31st March 2022.
As we expect the cost of living crisis to continue, Revive will continue to apply for funds and will publicise what we are doing, mainly through Facebook. Please also bear in mind that we can now offer debt advice sessions at the Revive Centre and we have secured some additional funding to ensure that our Job Club can remain open every day Monday-Friday until Sept 2022. We can provide training, help with CV’s, employment applications and interview skills. If you are in crisis and need immediate support, we also have energy top ups, food vouchers, heated throws and our Pantry available (terms and conditions apply).
